As 2022 comes to a close, I’ve been looking back at the year. We’ve made slow and steady changes in the business throughout the last 12 months, and that’s what inspired me for this episode. Based on those changes, let’s talk about how to step out of your comfort zone by ditching 5 habits in 2023.

It can be hard to believe that things are possible for you and your business. It’s easy to put things off until you have more time, but remember that time is a finite resource and you need to harness it. Make the time to build new habits that will make a difference in your life and business. It’s time to stop chasing and start receiving the abundance that is coming to you. It takes work, but it is completely obtainable.
First, stop being pulled in 1000 different directions. Take the time to install strong infrastructure and train your team to handle things without the need for micromanagement. The second habit to ditch is scheduling add-ons and “squeeze-ins.” Don’t overstretch your already full schedule to accommodate others. Protect your boundaries and create your non-negotiables.
Thirdly, stop putting up with “okay” employees. You don’t need to settle for average employees, and you also need to look at your own expectations. Habit #4 to drop in 2023 is accepting the less-than-ideal version of yourself. Instead, examine who you really want to be and how to become her.
Finally, stop pocketing your core values. Display them for all to see and act in a way that aligns with them. Communicate them. What do you stand for?
